I started this group so I can find other parents who want to take their baby or toddler to new and exciting places to stimulate their growth and development. I figure it would be more fun to explore what Long Beach and the surrounding areas have to offer with other parents. This way the kids can socialize and the parents can share their experiences in various natural or culturally interesting settings. Bring your kid(s) on a slow pace hike or attend one yourself. As a naturalist in a new area close to a great hiking trails I am looking to take my two young children on hikes and meet new people.  Most of the hikes will be about 2 miles or 2 hours in length and very easy.  There will be about two hikes a month at South Orange County trails. I will be leading the hikes and sharing all my knowledge of the flora and fauna. We'll also make sure the kids are having a good time as well!
