Inspired by the Children & Nature Network, this is an active group of Anchorage parents who wish to meet other families of all ages with an interest in being outdoors and in nature. We live in a city with an amazing backyard and want to make the most of it, while also instilling a deep appreciation for it in our children. WHY DID WE START THIS GROUP? As parents who work both inside and outside of the home, we wanted to be able to look forward to breaks from our routine and organize, host and attend events and see as many of our friends (and make new friends) at the same time!
